Thanks brian for this post .
5 days ago exactly i had to give a private class where this couple want to increase flexibility ,so they are regular costumers where the wife was sick with flu but she told me not to worry & she can take care of herself during the session , aswell she beleive she knows loads in yoga theme so the point is i started giving the session and she stop me every 5 min to tell me to watch her husband more & give him more explanation of his anatomy in correlation with the posture etc etc even her husband was like ” hey please lets enjoy the session” anyway the point is she got injured from her lower back she didnt hear my instructions even i said “stop & watch me first,”she was pissed and her husband told her “well… You were all the time looking at me !!!(true)
So my reaction was to checked her out give her some postures for lower back but what you said brian is soooo truth you need to put attetntion in your practice otherwise if you are not in enjoying the session you can get injured plus she was tierd sick and worried about any step her husband was doing
Well i suppose this is so common but brian give some advice this kind of people think cause they pay privates you should do whatever they say and my thought is that they pay to enjoy a nice tailorcut yoga session so sometimes what do you tell them without they take it wrong or think you are rude?
